We are 3 Fort Collins High School DECA students with a desire to bring together their community and help an amazing organization in the process. We know- 3 high schoolers planning a 5k?! That's crazy! And you're not wrong! This whole process has been insanely crazy but the impact it will make is truly worth it all.

Every project has a "why." A reason for spending all this time and energy towards a common goal, and our "why" is quite personal. One of the organizers of this year’s event had a health autoimmunity illness and relied on the excellent resources at Children's Hospital Colorado.  Although the organizer is in remission today, not all children struggling with health s are able to receive the help they require. We hope that this event raises funds and spreads awareness so that we’re able to help Children's Colorado continue to help children and families through different times in their lives.
